
The competition is open to national and international artists, and it is for broadly conceived graphic arts. Accepted entries will be presented at the Triennial exhibition and assessed by an international panel.
Artists may submit maximum 5 original works, made after 2008.
Works can be in traditional, digital or author’s original techniques. Maximum size of works 150 x 150 cm (the Post Office only accepts items that do not exceed 150 cm).
Entrants are obliged to warrant on the entry form that they have sole rights to their submissions.
Artists may donate works to “IMPRINT Contemporary Graphic Arts Collection” and are asked to mark that in the appropriate box on the entry form.

Prints should be delivered to the organizers in person or by post to:
IMPRINT 2011, Akademia Sztuk Pięknych w Warszawie, Wydział Grafiki, 00-068 Warszawa, Krakowskie Przedmieście 5, POLAND so that they arrive after January 10th and no later than 6 p.m. on February 11th, 2011.
Entries should be clearly described and signed, as shown on the attached form. They should be accompanied by a carefully filled entry form and a proof of entry fee payment (cheque or cash will not be accepted). In the cases of works in other media, they should be recorded on CD (DVD VIDEO standard).
All works should be carefully packaged (sturdy tubes, strong flat boards).
Entries should not be delivered in heavy frames, mounted under glass or with passé partouts.
Entries that do not conform to any of the conditions will not be accepted.
The organizers cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to original material.
The entrants will bear all delivery costs.
An international judging panel will nominate the winners of the Triennial.

Extraordinary awards
The judging panel may change both the amounts and the number of prizes, and its decisions are final.
All the artists participating in the exhibition will be invited to attend the exhibition opening and will receive a catalogue free of charge.
Works that have not been qualified to the competition/exhibition will be returned to the artists at the organizer’s expense, uninsured, by the end of 2011.
Accepted works (other than those receiving awards) will be returned at the organizer’s expense, uninsured, by the end of 2012.
In case of wrong return address prints will return to the organizers. If the correct address is supplied within a year after the close of the Triennial, prints will be dispatched at the artist’s expense; otherwise the organizers will assume that the entrant
has abandoned ownership.

August-September 2011 – informing authors about the verdicts

October 2011 – exhibition and awards ceremony at the Kubicki Arcades, Royal Castle in Warsaw
until the end of 2011 – returning works that have not been qualified for the exhibition
until the end of 2012 – returning works after the exhibition
